Avec un vignoble de 49 hectares d’un seul tenant situé à proximité immédiate de l’Estuaire de la Gironde, le Château Dauzac jouit d’un emplacement privilégié. Implanté sur une croupe de graves profondes avec des sols constitués de terrasses alluviales reposant sur des sous-sols graveleux et argileux, le vignoble du Château Dauzac dispose d’un terroir d’exception qui lui est propre.
Placé entre les mains de Laurent Fortin, Directeur Général, le Château Dauzac se classe aujourd’hui parmi les plus belles références du Médoc grâce à un important travail accompli tant dans le vignoble qu’au chai. Présentant le charme de l’appellation Margaux, les vins du Château Dauzac sont particulièrement taillés pour la garde en s’épanouissant avec grâce dans la longueur des années.

Château Dauzac’s 49-hectare single vineyard is located in the immediate vicinity of the Gironde Estuary, and enjoys a privileged position. Planted on a deep gravelly hilltop with soils consisting of alluvial terraces resting on gravelly and clayey subsoils, the Château Dauzac vineyard boasts an exceptional terroir all its own.
Today, under the guidance of Managing Director Laurent Fortin, Château Dauzac ranks among the finest Médoc wines, thanks to the hard work carried out both in the vineyard and in the winery. With all the charm of the Margaux appellation, Château Dauzac wines are particularly well-suited to ageing, blossoming gracefully over the years.
