Château Jouvente is first and foremost the fruit of David Gutmann’s passion. Founder of Praxis International, David is a management and transformation consultant for large institutions. Coming from a rural family working in leather, he discovered wine in 1969. He was 19 years old at the time and had a revelation during a visit to a winery in Pomerol. In the 1970s, he invested in wine finance groups. Much later, David dreamed of acquiring a winery that would also serve as a family gathering place. David took the step in June 2016. He was immediately accompanied by his youngest son, Benjamin, aged 30.
