Situated, as the name suggests, on an outcrop of deep graves and stretching over 50 hectares, this is one of the most beautiful sites of the Medoc. Planted with 65% of Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% of Merlot, 5% of Cabernet Franc and 5% of Petit Verdot, this domaine is considered by many to be the quintessence of Bordeaux, particularly the Medoc. Attentive care by the owner, Bruno Borie, meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards and an uncompromising selection of fruit is the key to this supremely elegant and balanced wine that often needs ten years of so before revealing its full character.
