History:
Château La Fleur de Boüard was born from the deep belief of its owner, Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, in the richness of the terroirs of Lalande-de-Pomerol. Accompanied by his children Coralie and Matthieu and his technical director Philippe Nunes, he puts his technical and oenological know-how at the service of an innovative approach that respects his environment.
Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, Coralie and Matthieu have taken up the challenge of revealing the full richness of this terroir. Children of Saint-Emilion, where they grew up in the family vineyards of Angélus, they are convinced that the vineyards of Lalande-de-Pomerol possess all the qualities necessary for the production of great wines.
This territorial singularity explains the frequent use of the name “La Fleur” in the appellation. The de Boüard family uses all its know-how to ensure that this early flower becomes a brilliant and fleshy fruit. Thanks to a rigorous approach, based on a great wine-growing tradition that respects the balance of nature and on oenological and scientific knowledge, it carefully ensures that its vineyard flourishes.
