The wine is fresh, very lemony, good length, fresh on the finish, less powerful than usual, very balanced, well in the style of the vintage. Gault & Millau, Guide 2016: 17/20 A wine that expresses itself in the register of refinement, and yet with a more marked liquor than usual. Nice vivacity on citrus fruits and apricot on the finish. Tasted in April 2015 (16.5 / 17.5).
  • AOC Lalande de Pomerol - Red Blend : 85% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon This is a seductive wine with incredible length. The wine is delicate, tasty and caressing. It has a dense garnet colour with purple hues. The intense bouquet combines fruity and spicy notes which then develop into notes of breeding. The attack is fruity. The wine takes on fullness in the middle of the mouth and reveals a structure that gives the 2019 Château La Fleur de Boüard its character. This is a great Pomerol wine that combines charm and vivacity.

Bettane & Desseauve, April 2017: 96/100 Great white fruit aroma, sappy, broad and long, beautiful ripe grape in evidence and great naturalness. JM Quarin, April 2017: 94/100 The best ever made! Very nice full entry where the wine develops immediately tasty and melts away, airy and extremely fruity. Long finish. I prefer this style.

The palate is balanced and frank with a nice balance between substance, density and freshness. The finish is very long with fresh red fruits, licorice, cinnamon and smoky notes.
