AOC Saint-Julien - Red 2nd Grand Cru Classé 1855 Blend : 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc Aging: Oak barrels of which 60% are new Score 93/100 Yves beck Intense color, greedy nose marked by red fruits, then a touch of undergrowth and tobacco. The texture is smooth and tight, slightly spicy. The tannins are present but the mouth is silky and the finish is long and tense. -

It develops aromas of ripe fruit, and has a great aptitude for ageing. Today it has mellow tannins, and aromas of leather, prune: aromas of evolution.
